Winter and Summer Aid Policy

VCU Athletics aid to attend summer school or intersession will be awarded by a detailed academic review by the summer/intersession committee. In addition, available department funds will be considered when making decision to award aid. Student-Athletes interested in taking a course over winter intersession or summer, will work their academic coordinator to apply for aid. This is only an application and aid is not guaranteed. 

Decision letters for all requests submitted will be sent to the student-athlete as soon as they have been reviewed by the Committee.
